OFFSET FLUE SYSTEM
The Fitters Favourite Flue
Flexible flue ducting, tested to 300°C, maximum 60mm diameter,
can be directed Left, Right, Centre, Offset, Almost anywhere.
Floor Standing Boilers:
Here’s how it works:
1. The installer cuts a round hole 5” (127mm) diameter and
introduces the integrated fl ue system through the hole from outside
of the building.
2. He cuts the air and fl ue ducts to length - just one inch
(25.4mm) proud of the inside wall.
3. He then screws the system into place complete with air
separator and fl ue guard.
4. On the inside he slides over the cover plate and fastens it to
the inside wall.
5. Heat restistent fl exible hoses then couple the appropriate ducts
to those on the boiler.
It’s as simple as that!
The Offset Advantage
Frequently, when a boiler is sited in the preferred position,
the fl ue terminates less than 600mm from an opening door or window.
The remedy is to move the fl ue to a suffi cient distance and fi
t as above. Eureka! Job done.
